A review of Warlock's Bounty Android game app
Warlock's Bounty: Revenge of the Sorcerer, as the developer puts it, combines strategic magic card combat with an involving, story-driven RPG gamebook experience. While Emil Bakalinov has been one of the most experienced developers in the interactive fiction and a dedicated coder, the author Jonathan Green is best remembered for his popular titles under the game-book genre including Star Wars, Doctor Who and Fighting Fantasy. In the story of Warlock's Bounty, you would partake the role of a mighty sorcerer who was once an apprentice to the noted wizard Corax Whiteraven. Corax is the guardian wizard of Lloegyr, and his land is endangered; he will send you a note asking for your help. The rest of the game-play is based on the mission you would now embark on to save Lloegyr and its mighty master.
