Admissions 2013 for M.Tech at ACNMM - Courses offered & eigibility


Courses Offered: Applications are invites for admissions to the below mentioned courses.
  • M.Tech in Nanoscience and Technology - The course is concerned with biomedical nanotechnologies.

  • M.Tech in Nanotechnology - The course is concerned with electronic and electrochemical technologies and solar cells

  • M.Tech in Molecular Medicine - The course is concerned with molecular tools and technologies for diagnostics and therapy at the molecular level.

Intake: The intake capacity for Nanoscience and Technology is 20, Nanotechnology is 10 and Molecular medicine is 15.

Eligibility: Here is the eligibility criteria required to apply for M.Tech courses at ACNSMM.

For M.Tech in Nanoscience and Technology: To apply for this course, candidates with M.Sc (Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Zoology) or applicants with B.Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronics, Biomedical, Biotechnology etc.) or MBBS or BDS or BPharm with not less than 60% marks (or equivalent) are eligible.

For M.Tech in Nanotechnology: Applicants with M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science with not less than 60% marks (or equivalent) are eligible to apply.

For M.Tech in Molecular Medicine: Applicants who have Masters Degree in any related fields of Life Sciences, B.Tech Biotechnology, B.Pharm, MBBS or BDS with not less than 60% marks (or equivalent) can apply.

Selection process for M.Tech admissions at Amrita Centre for Nanoscience and Molecular Medicine


To select candidates for admissions to M.Tech courses there will be a common entrance test conducted followed by interview. GATE qualified applicants are exempted from common entrance test.

ACNSMM M.Tech admissions 2013 application form, fees and procedure to apply


Fees: Candidates who wish to seek admissions at ACNSMM for M.Tech
Courses need to send DD for Rs.650 in favour of "Amrita Centre for Nanosciences" payable at Kochi.
