Veterinary Technician National Exam eligibility criteria
Candidates who have completed a veterinary technology program accredited by the American or Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) are eligible to apply for this exam. Keep in mind that in some states, the on-the-job training will be sufficient for eligibility. But before taking the exam, you have to apply or pay the fees associated with it. Apart from this, you have to provide a government issued form of identification. Each candidate will be allowed to take the VTNE exam 5 times. But if you wish to take the exam more than 5 times, then you have to make a special request to AAVSB.
