Swine Flu- Symptoms & Preventions

A very dangerous viral infection which has claimed many lives around the world and now entered into kolkata and growing rapidly. Here are some dos and donts of Swine Flu which are very helpful.

Swine flu is such a virus which directly affects on your immune system and without proper treatment by no time you get multi-organ failure and death occurs.

Symptoms: It is very difficult to differienciate Swine Flu from other seasonal viral infections.
Common symptoms are: Fever sometimes low sometimes high.
Cold & Cough
Running Nose or Blocked Nose
Head ache
Body ache
Heavy Weakness
Soar Throat
Heavy resipiratory problems
It is spreaded through sneezing and coughing from other people who are already affected with Swine Flu.

It is also spreaded through by touching items like public telephone, lift switch,computer , books which are alredy shared by infected persons.

Those who go schools , colleges and offices are having very good chances of catching this viral infection as because the chances of interaction with infected people are high.

If you visit swine Flu affected area or country the chances are very high too.


Do not panic

If you have cold & cough, sneezing and body ache then just wait for 2-3 days and take normal measure to overcome this. If the situation persists for long then immediately visit a doctor and get tested.

Use tissues and always cover your nose and mouth. After sneezing or coughing dispose the tissue and wash your hands.

Try not to touch public telephone , computers, pens, if you have touched those then do not try to touch your mouth, nose , eye immediately. Wash frequently your hands.

Wash and sanitize your hands as frequent as possible. Foam based sanitizers are very suitable.

Wear mask when you travel public places. Keep handful of masks everytime.

Drink lot of water and sound sleep is much required.

Try to ventilate your house.

Clean toilets, kitchen are advisable.

Try to avoid making direct contact with infected people or sick.
